Shipping:
How do you ship?
- We ship all in stock scooters next day from our Toronto, Ontario warehouse with signature required. If you would like to ship without a signature, please add a note during checkout. Keep in mind that any stolen packages will be the buyers responsibility with a no-signature option.
- All Pre-Order scooters will be sent out upon arrival at our warehouse and you can expect shipping updates along the way.
How long will it take for my scooter to arrive?
- You can expect your scooter to arrive anywhere from 2 days and up to 6 days days depending on your location.
- Pre-Orders will arrive as per the Month outlined on the product page.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
- We are focused on the Canadian market at the moment and want to ensure we provide the absolute best service and care to our Canadian customers.
Scooter Questions:
Are scooters legal to ride in my city/province?
- Electric scooters are relatively new and bylaws and rules are different across the country for single rider micro-mobility. Please ensure to check with your local municipality about rules and regulations.
- It is the buyers responsibility to check and confirm the legality of riding a scooter in their city.
- We believe it is a matter of time that cities legalize e-scooter use as they better understand the positive impacts micro-mobility provides such as: reduced pollution , improvements in traffic, reduced strain on public transport and overall cleaner cities.
- We encourage all riders to always wear a helmet, follow the rules of the road and ensure to stay in bike lanes where possible.
How long does it take to learn how to ride?
- Everyone has different physical capabilities but from our personal experience, most people can hop on and ride with away with ease. We recommend always wearing protective equipment, starting slow, engage the braking system at slow speeds.
What is the maximum speed and range of our electric scooters?
- Speed and range is dependent on the model of scooter, road conditions, weather, riding speed and weight of the rider. We ensure to provide accurate estimates based on 170lb rider on a flat road with average speed.
Can I ride my electric scooter in the rain?
- We do not recommend using your scooter in the rain or in wet conditions. However, if you find yourself caught in the rain, you can rest assured your scooter is water resistant - just wipe them down thoroughly when you arrive at your destination.
Warranty Questions:
What is your warranty policy?
- Your WHIP is covered with a comprehensive warranty which covers defects for 12 months, If you experience a defect during the warranty period, WHIP will repair the affected product at no charge to you and exchange with an equivalent replacement, or provide a replacement part based on the type of issue.
How do I start a warranty claim?
- Please send us an email to hello@whipelectric.ca including pictures or videos of the issue. In most cases, we can diagnose and send you replacement parts free of charge.
- We can also provide guidance on how to perform simple repairs. If your scooter needs to be returned to our repair facility, we will communicate with you instructions on next steps.
Returns:
Can I return my electric scooter?
- If you would like to return your product, we offer a full refund up to 60 days from when you take delivery. The product must be in new condition, include all parts, accessories and must be packed in the original packaging.
- If the scooter has been used, we typically do not accept returns. In exceptional cases, we may agree with a 20% re-stocking fee.
- Yes, helmets can also be returned for a full refund! We believe in customer satisfaction and want to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
- Buyer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
How do I start a return?

- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
- All refunds are processed within 1-2 business days after receiving the return to your original form of payment.
What happens if my scooter does not work properly?
- If your scooter is dead on arrival or something is not working right, we will provide an exchange for your scooter free of charge and will bare the cost of return shipping.

- Scooters are high in demand and very popular, especially when more and more people are looking for things to do outside the home. A pre-order will guarantee the buyer a scooter before we run out of stock.
- With the surge in demand many retailers are not able to keep items in stock during peak time.
- Ordering in advance will help you secure a great scooter with bonus items at a time where you don’t mind waiting 1-2 months to get your order.
